Description
In TS 26.512 table 7.2.3.1-1 there are two properties of a
ProvisioningSession
resource:aspId
andexternalApplicationId
. It is not clear why one is optional and the other is not, and the use to which these two properties will be put within the 5GMS Application Function is also unclear.aspId
the text indicates that it is specified in clause 5.6.2.3 of TS 29.514. However, the specification just says that it is an identifier included if "SponsoredConnectivity" is an enabled feature in the PCF. There are no clear details of where thisaspId
comes from. It is also not clear whether or not the feature being available in the PCF affects the inclusion of this field when creating a Provisioning Session in the 5GMS Application Function.externalApplicationId
refers to TS 29.571 for the definition. However theApplicationId
in TS 29.571 is merely defined as being a string with no details about who or what defines the string and what its use is within the 5G System. This is also a mandatory property of aProvisioningSession
, with no details of where it comes from or what use it will be put to.Could we get some clarity from the writers of these sections about what these field are and what they are for?
Suggestions
aspId
should be supplied and when it should be omitted.externalApplicationId
is and what it is used for.ApplicationId
in TS 29.571 to include what its origin is and what it is for.The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
