Currently the kernel has a primitive logging facility, kdebug, that isn't integrated with anylogger. Consequently all the mechanism to set logging levels and so on isn't leveraged and tools like swingset-runner have to have their own ad hoc command line parameters to control the verbosity of kedebug output. This should be tidied up to use the common mechanism.
