Dear Alexey

I hope you are doing fine.

I am quite keen to use your tool (I think your defining such a tool is great) and have some questions / unclarities:

  1. May I ask you if there is a way to have a binary for Mac OS X High Sierra 10.13.6? (I am using this one for compatibility with other programs but I have not compiled such projects before myself...). If not, I may need to use the Windows version, but not quite sure if the back with the FireWire connection is still connecting to a Windows laptop (e.g. Windows 10). Also I could run BigSur too, but I understood that the digital back does not connect to this OS anymore due to the FireWire connection. So I would need some support here with some backward compatibility :)

  2. To run the tool(s), does the digital back need to be connected to the computer?

  3. Also I am not quite clear how the order of running the tools is:

  • how do I download the current mapping profile from the digital back? (I have a P45, non plus with around 3-6 dead pixels, based on vertical blank lines appearing on darker areas)
  • I understand the IIQRemap tool should be able to generate an updated IIQ profile for this back
  • How do I upload the profile into the camera again so that the camera can use the updated profile?

Thank you for the info and support,
Cristian

Hi Cristian
It would help if you actually read the detailed information on IIQRemap tool page https://github.com/Alexey-Danilchenko/PhaseOne-IIQ-Tools/tree/main/IIQRemap starting from "First a few concepts"

That should answer allmost all of your question. Regarding the version for older Mac OS - I am unable to build it. You can try to run it but I cannot say if it will run or not.

Uploading of calibration file to the back is done by Phase one firmware tool
