Description

I would like to write a plugin to assist with whole-house audio from sxm-player. Is there any plugin documentation you can point me to?

Currently I'm using sxm-player as a proxy, and using vlc in curses mode with http socket enabled to play an SXM stream on my server's local sound card, which is then distributed to multiple speakers in my house. This works, but does not let me view metadata. I use OpenHab for home automation, and see you've forked Home Assistant, so this may be of interest.

I was thinking of a plugin like the existing Discord bot, that played audio on the local sound output (directly or via pulse /pipewire) , and interacted with OpenHab / Home Assistant / etc through an MQTT broker.
