Installing a dev env on a Mac is not user-friendly and we believe the best way to fix this is to make changes to the OS package manager. We need to research how to contribute to their code base and testbed several changes to improve the installation process.

Steps to complete:

  • Research and document how to get our homebrew tap into the official homebrew repo
  • Implement changes in CICD for release triggering
