Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I searched the existing issues and did not find anything similar.

Current Behavior

I installed AntiMicroX in order to rebind a steering wheel controller to play normal video games in a silly way, but after binding all the keys and tweaking all the settings to get it correct, it only registers inputs when i'm actively using the program. all of my binds work correctly, and i have run the program as an administrator as well as done a lot of research, but i can't seem to find any others having a similar issue or a solution.

Expected Behavior

From what i've seen, it should theoretically work in most programs in general, but especially in games. however, as stated earlier, it doesn't work in anything else.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Download and Open AntiMicroX as an Administrator
  2. Bind all Keys to Controller
  3. Click on another Program
  4. Nothing happens when attempting to use keybinds

Environment

Program Version 3.4.0
Compiled from packaging: GitHub Windows Release
Built Against SDL 2.30.1
Running With SDL 2.30.1
Using Qt 5.15.2
Using Event Handler: SendInput
Host OS: windows Version: 10 Architecture: x86_64

same problem here, i figured out that i was launching the game in administrator mode (assetto corsa in my case) while AntiMicrox not, so now i just run the game normal mode and the app works for me again with all binded keys and everything... hope this help you my friend

Hi i had this problem for a while but i was trying to fix it and i tried reinstalling. When i did this time i installed it with installing directories into system PATH for current user hoping it might make a change which it did. I dont know if this was just a fluke or if it really solved it but hope this helps.
