This doesn't appear to be an error related to Azure.Identity itself, but rather your hosting environment's Managed Identity endpoint. Enabling logging might give us some additional info though. |

I am trying to connect to Azure App Config using Managed Identity and getting below error:

ConfigurationClient client = new ConfigurationClient(new Uri(appConfigUri), cred);
In azure portal, I provided 'App Configuration Data Owner' permission to the Managed identity. The code changes get packaged and run in a Geneva Actions operation.
Some other alternatives I have tried is using ManagedIdentityCredential() and ManagedIdentityCredential(clientId: xxxxx)
