[Feature request] option to get windows explorer instead of internal waky explorer that doesn't let past url to path of the folder

I often have path to location such as \server\folder1\folder2[...]\folder8 and it's hard / impossible to naviguate ot them using your internal windows explorer (unless attaching link to virtual disk but it's not good either in my opinion and not a solution)

similar folder structure here, for me it works well with 2 possibilities:
using favorites: (put \server\folder1\folder2\folder3\folder4\folder5 to favorites and navigate from there
using "recent folders" and navigate from there

I simply cannot go to the location as it isn't in the sidebar and i can't paste the URL to the location.

Did you assign a network drive? Then you will be able to access the network drive without searching or entering a network address.

@softyoda Considering that your end goal is not actually to use Windows Explorer, but rather to improve the navigation experience, I will consider this feature request accordingly. To determine the best solution, we need to understand what problems you are having with the existing interface. I have a few questions for you because you have not provided many details.

1. Why is hard or impossible to navigate? This is the first time I have heard anyone have problems, so please be detailed in your explanation. It would also be very helpful to provide a step-by-step example of what you are doing, explaining which steps are hard and providing a screenshot/recording if necessary.
2. What do you mean when you write that you can't paste the path? Does RawTherapee not recognize the path you pasted? Are you unable to paste any text into the bar? Or are you unable to see the bar where you can paste the path?
3. Where exactly is the location you can't navigate to? For example, is it a network drive, a USB external hard drive, cloud storage, etc? Can RawTherapee even open images in that location? For example, in Windows Explorer, when you right-click and open with RawTherapee, does the image load?
