civic.json shall _also_ reside in the root of the project's website

I am thinking about user-driven app-catalogs like http://dataforgood.co/ that could parse the civic.json when a project is added via it's website url to display additional information if present. An example location would be http://adoptahydrant.org/civic.json (there is nothing there - don't even click!).
