Sliders with read range

We often want a slider to adjust the axis range on the plot. It would be useful to have a function (or module) to dynamically read the range of values that are visible on the plot and update the slider input. The plot should show the possible range and the slider should have a little offset (the value should be discussed, maybe a parameter) for visibility.

This is particularly useful if we allow the user to upload their file.
