Release Notes

A new release of the Blockstream Green desktop app!

It is meant as a replacement for the GreenAddress app.The feature set has not been completely ported to the new app;subsequent releases are going to incrementally complete porting to the new app (such features are watch-only wallets and support for hardware wallets).

This release adds support for specifying a custom fee rate when sending bitcoins!

Relevant changes

• Fix notarization build issue with sha256 of final artifacts (make notarization part of CI)

Release Notes

A new release of the Blockstream Green desktop app!

It is meant as a replacement for the GreenAddress app. The feature set has not been completely ported to the new app; subsequent releases are going to incrementally complete porting to the new app (such features are watch-only wallets and support for hardware wallets).

This is the first release out of the beta, thanks to users who have filed issues in the previous versions

Relevant changes

This release comes with many improvements over the previous versions:

• Improvements to QR code scanner in Mac OS (both performance and stability)

• Update the app dependencies (gdk 0.0.31, qzxing)

• Let the user paste an address with a button in send view

• Cleanup UI views (Assets, Transactions, Settings)

• App can now work without an exchange rate pricing source

• Tar AppImage so that users can run it without modifying permissions

• Fix Google Authenticator QR code for iOS devices

• Add an accounts summary in settings that can be used by the recovery tool to speed up wallet recovery

• Update translations including a complete czech string set

• Windows version is now signed with a code signing cert

• Refactor CI to speed up builds in Docker

• Allow users to export a per account transaction list in CSV format

• Wallets can now be removed from the app

• Sort liquid assets pinning the ones with an icon at the top
