WIBL currently (2.3.0) intentionally has no mounting points, recommended external connectors, or enclosure. This is because it is expected to be a research device, rather than one that is used in the field.
People doing their own implementations of the system are likely to want to field the units, however, and having to redesign the module to include mounting points, connectors, and an enclosure are likely to be significant barriers to entry for an interested party.
We should therefore provide:
Recommendations for external connectors for NMEA0183 and NMEA2000, with options for low-cost if possible.
Mounting points on the PCB with recommendations for stand-offs, mounting screws, etc.
Recommendations for an enclosure suitable for the PCB, and the external connectors, with options for pre-fabricated, and 3D printed.
