We have agreed to standardize on p_x_given_y for conditional probabilities (ex: infection hospitalization rate would be p_hospital_admission_given_infection) and delay_x_to_y_pmf for delay distributions (ex: infection to hospital admission delay would be delay_infection_to_hospital_admission_pmf.
