showMultiple/changBy with mode set to vertical doesn't seem to work

I recently tried to create a simple carousel effect for some dates. I attempted to show 2 dates at a time and scroll vertically to the next 2. The dates were stacked vertically as well, not horizontally as your example. When initializing the slider, it then assigned each date the height of the "anythingWindow" in which forced the second date off the slider. This doesn't allow multiple panels to be shown vertically, because it assumes the multi-panels are horizontal in nature.

I can provide a example if required. if I have missed anything I would be glad to be enlightened. Thanks.
