Search is broken & Restarts/Shutdown are Extremely Slow #69

Describe the bug

Windows search does not find new programs and doesn't remove newly uninstalled programs
Restarts and shutdown are incredibly slow

To Reproduce

  1. Use the essential "Desktop" tweaks
  2. Restart (for good measure)
  3. Windows search is now broken
  4. Undoing tweaks does NOT fix this

Expected behavior

Everything should be searchable in windows search
Usual restart and shutdown takes less than 10 seconds (as opposed to 2-3 minutes)

Additional context

The only fix I found to for search is manually resetting everything in O&OSHUTUP10
I have not found a fix for the restarts
Running latest Windows 10 version:
Version 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1766)

While trying to run the tool myself for the first time, I ran the "Laptop" version of tweaks with "Disable Numlock on Startup", "Show File Extensions" and "Remove ALL MS Store Apps" active. However, I only had my searchbar broken, which was also fixed when I used "Undo All Tweaks". I will attach the terminal logs as they contained a few errors that might seem useful in fixing this.

Describe the bug

Windows search does not find new programs and doesn't remove newly uninstalled programs Restarts and shutdown are incredibly slow

To Reproduce

  1. Use the essential "Desktop" tweaks
  2. Restart (for good measure)
  3. Windows search is now broken
  4. Undoing tweaks does NOT fix this

Expected behavior

Everything should be searchable in windows search Usual restart and shutdown takes less than 10 seconds (as opposed to 2-3 minutes)

Additional context

The only fix I found to for search is manually resetting everything in O&OSHUTUP10 I have not found a fix for the restarts Running latest Windows 10 version: Version 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1766)

This is clearing the page file every time you reboot or shutdown windows which is causing the lengthy delay.

in regedit go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\MemoryManagment
and change clear page file at shutdown from 1 to 0
