As a staff member or owner of a server, at some point you will have to deal with players who spam, insult others, delete builds, and so on.

A variety of tools are included to deal with such players. Listed below are the most common tools:

Dealing punishment

/Kick [player]

Forcefully disconnects the player from the server.

/Ban [player]

Kicks the player and then blocks them from ever joining again.

/BanIP [ip/player]

Kicks any player upon trying to join as long as they are connecting from a certain IP. Does not ban accounts individually.

/TempBan [player] [duration]

The same as /Ban, but automatically unbans the player after the given duration has passed.

/Mute [player] [duration]

Prevents the player from speaking for the next given duration.

/Freeze [player] [duration]

Prevents the player from moving or changing blocks for the next given duration.

/Warn [player]

Shows a public message warning the given player. After 3 warnings the player is automatically kicked.

Observing behaviour

/Patrol

Teleports you to the next guest player in need of checking. (Note: Only guests that have not been patrolled by any staff member in the last member are checked)

/Hide

Enters hidden mode which makes lower ranked players unable to see you.

/Follow [player]

Enters follow mode which makes you automatically follow all the movements of the player.

Block modification

/About

When you next place or delete a block, the server will list all the changes made by players to that block.

/UndoPlayer [player] [duration]

Reverts all block changes by the player in the given duration on the current map. You can also use -area before the player argument if you only want to undo a player's actions inside a certain area.
