while the pdf file links to https://github.com/sai-dev/sai/files/5677502/retrain-D21.pdf where github.com isn't blocked,
so i need pdf or zip file of image to view them

Quick update. We have finally agreed that the ratio between match games and self-play games in the current pipeline was way too high. So we decided to lower it in three steps:

1. The number of self-plays per generation increases from 5120 to 7040 (there are obscure reasons to keep it a multiple of 640 😉)
2. The number of promotion candidates decreases from 16 to 12 (4 choices of parameters times 3 choices of the number of steps)
3. The number of games per match decreases (promotions from 50 to 40, references from 40 to 30, panel from 30 to 25)
   We are working on the next release of SAI. There is a significant improvement for SAI agent (aka when lambda>0, NOT used for self-plays). The first commits will be on github soon, but the compiled version will have to wait some other urgent improvements.

how many self play games will one 20b net take?

More or less the same. Maybe 7000 or maybe back to 5000 per generation. We are open to suggestions and discussion.
At the beginning the discontinuity in the training data will be quite sharp and we may expect some oscillations in strength.
