If you are looking for an issue, but can't find one that fits. Please comment here with what your skill set is, and what type of contributions you'd like to do:

  • Documentation
  • Examples / example refactoring (e.g. to update the code in it)
  • Plugins
  • UI work
  • Core work

Hello, I am indeed looking for an issue. I am a python developer and primarily a backend developer with Django, flask, web scraping and automation. Docker and CI/CD, working with databases like Postgres, writing unit tests. Some frontend knowledge too in javascript.
I would like to contribute to any of the among listed options.

Thanks for posting! I think #69 could be an interesting one? It would be a demo app people can play with when they install the Burr UI. All the pieces are there, just need to wire them all together into the backend fastAPI webservice with maybe some light JS work.

Hi, I’m looking for a beginner-friendly issue to work on. I’m a computer science student, still gaining experience in development. I have knowledge in Python, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and Java, and I’m eager to contribute to small, manageable tasks to help me get started.
Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Hello! I started contributing to open-source during this hacktober fest and the issues that I have worked so far are error or unit test based in Python. So I'm confident about those kinda issues, could you please assign me an issue like that?

@Dipec001 could you comment on #69 so I can assign it to you please?

@maskeensingh @rajatkriplani acknowledged. I'll get back to you soon on some proposed tasks. Thanks for your patience.

thanks for the prompt response! I'm going through some "good first issue" issues. I found #385 and I think I can work on it as the the function _validate_and_extract_signature_types in rigidly expects a state and if it is missing, it raises a KeyError

@rajatkriplani great, please comment on the issue. I can then assign & @elijahbenizzy can help guide and confirm that the task is still there to be completed.
