A global call is open for tech vendors to apply to UNDP's Global LTA (long-term agreement). If successful, it would make it easier for your organization to work with a range of UNDP/UN teams on digital projects for 3 years (with a potential extension for 2 additional years - up to 5 years total).

The Request for Proposal (RFP) is divided into five distinct lots, and bidders have the flexibility to bid on one or more of them:

• 🗃️ Areas: Digital Transformation Strategy and Research, Data, Architecture & Technology Advisory, Product Design, Development, and Maintenance, Digital Events Management and Marketing, Digital Capability Building and Learning
• 🌍 Eligibility: To see if you qualify, go to the UNDP Procurement notice site, register, and download "Section 5 Terms of Reference" file to see how to bid and the requirements for each area.
• 💰 Level of funding: Per project/ service provided
• ⏰ Deadline for applications: December 15, 2023

This section from the Minimum Eligibility and Qualification Criteria seems pretty exclusionary to me -> Turnover: Minimum average annual turnover of USD 300,000 for the last 3 years.
(For JV/Consortium/Association, all Parties cumulatively should meet requirement). 
Bidder must demonstrate the current soundness of its financial standing and indicate its prospective long-term profitability.

+1, I stopped assessing at that stage. That's a usual provision for large institutions procurement, but is a typical example of a criterion that will exclude most DPGs.

There is usually a provision for financial stability (normally increasing turnover) but this was the first I ever saw which specified a minimum turnover in US$ for 3 years. I guess what happened is that the RFP went from digital to procurement who then applied a default Eligibility and Qualification template to it used for folks who supply vaccines or vehicles or some such.

I'll let the team at UNDP know about this blocker for many organizations. I believe it would be hard to change that requirement at this point, but I'm hoping it can be considered for future LTA calls.

@MattiSG Are you mixing the products with organizations here? Or has there been DPG status awarded to vendors/organizations?

No, you are right, DPGs are to my knowledge only products. I'm assuming most DPGs have a dedicated organization, or an umbrella org that could not apply as a vendor, as all the ones I discussed with had.
So indeed, a meta "DPG vendor" would solve that quite nicely 😉

Should the vendor have completed two similar complexity projects in the last 3 years of which one must be > $ 50,000 deal value?
