Part "DeployedSatDish", which supposed to give direct interplanetary link for deployed science is missing RealAntennas module.
also
both comms enabled pars need ability to change RF band.
With other parts it is possible to add to vessel -> edit -> store.
The easiest way would be to allow an engineer to change RF band after deployment.

Probably not going to do much to address this. The DeployedCentralStation is the only part I have configured. The power support rules for deployed science are fairly hax, so the approach I'm taking is to intentionally only place a weak comms node on the core part. Even if I set that dish, I'm not going to give it much capability. If that isn't enough to get home [and I don't really intend it to be], you should leave a normal vessel landed nearby acting as a relay.

Unfortunately, the deployed science parts I don't think allow configuration in the VAB.

Allowing engineers to edit the RF band in the Flight scene is a good suggestion that I'll keep in mind. Or accept a PR that does so. (If you or someone does, it will need to be configurable/disable-able via a global difficulty setting and probably on a per-part basis also, would need discussion).
