I like the editor and the ideas behind, but it is confusing what the buttons in the editor window mean.
It took a while until I understood that my View1D/2D-Nodes are still connected to a closed file. I had to delete every node by selecting each and delete it.
Now I try to get the analysis of the selection back, but close and reopen doesn't help - A refresh-button would be very helpful.

I second that the software isn't really intuitive yet.
I plan to port the editor to another (cross platform and future proof) language in the future. This will involve a redesign of the UI, so i'll probably implement the requested features then.
Regarding refresh: The nodes should refresh themselves as soon as connections change, data is edited or files are openend/closed. What is not refreshing for you, or what analysis are you exactly trying to get back?
ok, thanks! I forked it and maybe I fix it by myself and make a pull request. I think this tool could also be helpful to show sprites in ROMs of old video consoles.
I cannot describe exactly if it did refresh and think I connected it wrong because I tried again and it worked.
