The Slinky service should get deployed to the production k8 cluster for use in other DataONE services. There are a few things that need to be done for this to happen, outlined below

Authorization

  • setup kube config context for slinky in prod k8s

Persistent Storage

  • have Nick create additional CephFS subvolume for slinky: https://github.nceas.ucsb.edu/NCEAS/Computing/issues/112
  • create ceph-csi cephfs based persistent volume for gnis from the new subvolumes
    • create new persistent volume manifest
    • create new persistent volume claim manifest
  • Refactor Slinky to use the new volume

Networking

  • ??
