Settings to change Search History length

Description

I think it would be great if the search history could be a bit longer. As it stands for now, it is only five entries long and a field in Settings > Miscellaneous to change the length would make a lot of sense.

Alternatives

If a new setting is too much, just changing the default length to something larger would also do the job.

Additional context

Browsing through Reddit I sometimes refrain from actually searching anything because I want to keep my old search results. I think having more of the history available would make a difference for a lot of people.

Solution

Browsing the code I found that the history is limited by this line and the one after it. I've implemented the alternative solution here but cant figure out how to extract the value to the settings menu.
