Contributing to Mission:Information

👍 🎉 First off, thanks for taking the time to contribute! 🎉 👍

This project has received contributions from some wonderful volunteers. Here is some information to help you better jump in and contribute, should you be so inclined!

What should I know before I get started?

Code of Conduct

This project adheres to Mozilla's Community Participation Guidelines. By participating, you are expected to uphold this code of conduct. Please report unacceptable behavior to info {at} nucleuslearningnetwork {dot} org.

Our README is the first place you should go, if you haven't already. If you have questions about the goals or purpose of the project, please get in touch via the channels outlined below. You can also Create an issue and mark it with the "question" label.

Communication

You can communicate in a couple of different ways:

  1. Github - You can open an issue to start a discussion here within Github.
  2. Get in touch with questions or ideas via email
  3. Get in touch over Gitter

How can I help?

See the Engagement Ladder document linked in the Readme for detailed information on how you can contribute.

Thank you!

First, thank you for taking the time to contribute!

If you are able to contribute to an open issue during the Global Sprint, you’ll receive a virtual high-five and a shoutout on an acknowledgment page (unless you’d prefer I not name you - just let me know!).

In the future, if you review a lesson plan, leave your project information and I will be happy to check out your work and share feedback.

If you're interested in taking on a bigger role in the project, or if you have ideas about how we can work together, please get in touch!
