This is happening in AGO: the addItem call in arcgis-rest-js 3.7.0 is sending the thumbnailUrl parameter to AGO, but the thumbnail is not being set. Documentation shows that parameter should be thumbnailurl, so also tried that, but with no success either.

Since we're working towards moving towards arcgis-rest-js 4.x, let's put this issue on hold until that move is complete even though the problem seems to be out of its control, too.
