Finally I got time to write it @hampusnasstrom
There are a couple of things in our classes I would like to bring on discussion again:

• Substrate -> ThinFilmStack -> Substrate. the Substrate name used for different things is a bit confusing. It's also difficult to find another name. Let'S see
• vapor_flow_rate, we set it as a molar_flow_rate. I would like to call the composed object molar_flow_rate. If in PLD then someone wants it called "vapor flow rate", we can use a label for it
• In the growth step class there are some parameters in the sample_parameters and some in environment. None of them can actually be assigned a priori to each sample or to the full chamber (or, alternatively, each of them can!) I would rethink this aspect. Maybe would be nice to have the same class used in environment and also inherited in sample_parameters. The parsers could then go and figure out what to fill
