Compatibility Inquiry: libyang version 2.1.128 with FRR version 9.1

We are currently leveraging FRR version 9.1 in our network setup, specifically for eBGP multihop peering with Arista routers to manage BGP announcements for Anycast service provisioning. Our configuration model relies on prefix-lists applied outbound to BGP neighbors.

In our infrastructure, we have already implemented libyang version 2.1.128. Upon reviewing the FRR 9.1 release notes, we noticed the recommended libyang version is 2.1.80. Given our current use of libyang 2.1.128, we seek your advice on the compatibility and potential implications this may have with FRR 9.1.

Could you provide guidance on whether continuing with libyang version 2.1.128 is advisable or if we should consider downgrading to the recommended version 2.1.80 to ensure optimal functionality and stability of our network services?

It seems that version 2.1.118 of libyang is indeed available in the frr-9 repository.
