Behavior of the program
So i wanted to test if FreeTube can handle very very very long videos and this what i found out.

  • Youtube display all 100hours properly while Freetube displays only around 3 hours in video.
  • If the video reaches the end it will extend the video for a few seconds
  • if it reaches the end again it rolls itself back a few seconds.
  • Loading the video takes up allot of time
  • Freezes the application while trying to load the video (u cant click on anything).
  • Video length in history section is not displaying 200hrs.

This is the link to the vid:
https://youtu.be/56lkofpjOAs

Expected behavior

  • Display all the full 100hours
  • Doesnt extend the video
  • Doesn't roll itself back 10sec.
  • Doesnt take that long to load a video,
  • Doesn't freeze the application while loading a video.
  • Shows correct video length in history section.

To Reproduce
See video.

Maximum upload size

The maximum file size you can upload is 256 GB or 12 hours, whichever is less. We've changed the limits on uploads in the past (2011), so you may see older videos that are longer than 12 hours.

I mean long is kind of a stretch here. More like unproportional gigantic would fit better.
The problem with the history from my understanding is that it only shows the 5hrs49mins? If that is the cut off then this is also the information that is provided. For the video suggested my history shows correct 168hrs.

The freezing of the application is probably due to the video loading. There is not really that much we can do here, as this is done by VideoJS and it's plugin.
