Portability? Source code access? #212
Comments
The code for 2.0 version https://github.com/GPUOpen-LibrariesAndSDKs/RadeonRays_SDK/tree/legacy-2.0 is available here. We're working on open sourcing what we can from the latest version with legal. Following this repo will update when that happens. |
When will the open source code of Radeon Rays 4.0 become available - in a month or in half a year ? |
Apparently much longer than half a year... At this rate I'm not sure it's ever going to be released or even be relevant if it is released. |
@warvstar Well, it's finally here. |
LOL, as I see, this "open source" without the source codes of the trace kernels .. apparently, AMD is mocking .. :D |
Reposting here since you apparently can't read CMakeFiles:

ok, thanks ) |
It's pretty evident that raytracing is coming to mobile and the web soon, there is hardware been developed and talk among developers, then there is the next gen consoles. Are there any chances of an iOS, Android, WebAssembly/WebGPU or next gen Xbox/PS5 builds? If not, is it possible to get access to the code so I can do it myself?
Thanks
