we got some fun smoketest situations these days…

1. target crashed => protocol timeout. often for smoke perf-frame-metrics see WPT started getting a lot of PROTOCOL_TIMEOUT errors #12835. probably also flaky smoke tests: bytes and perf #12773
2. windows render-blockering-resources difference because lantern (from june) windows smoke test failing on dbw render-blocking-resources #12646
3. segfault during unit-core.
   • see Node 14, 16 (Ubuntu) crash with --experimental-vm-modules if require and import are used in the same test file nodejs/node#39330
   • report: convert to ES modules #12702 (comment)
4. local smoke failure around screenshot size due to DPR>1. started in canary ~2w ago
5. requests.length for perf-budgets is wrong. flaky smoke tests: bytes and perf #12773
6. protocol timeout in redirects-http PROTOCOL_TIMEOUT from redirects-http #12636
