Squoosh is currently on a version over 2 years old, with the most recent release reducing memory use by up to 10x (Especially useful for mobile) and significantly improving multithreaded speed

Updating of libjxl to the most recent release

Sorry for the late reply. Yeah, the current JXL version is at this commit sometime between v0.6.1 and 0.7.0.

I tried updating our libjxl a year ago but at the time the JXL encoder-decoder was compiled as multi-threaded only, which broke our single-threaded WASM. I believe libjxl has since fixed the multi-threaded-only issue in the CMake file, so we'll try to bring it to the latest version soon.
