Most extensions are only supported on hadoop 1, are there plans to extend support to Hadoop 2 ?

Is there an extension in particular that you're thinking of? Spark should work with either hadoop 1 or hadoop 2, and the hama and bigtable extensions actually require hadoop 2.

Query tools. More importantly Hive, Pig and maybe adding support for Presto ?.
Also curious if there are any plans on extending HDP support to HDP 2.3 ?
