Code of Conduct

Purpose

The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to establish clear guidelines for respectful and inclusive behavior for all members of our community. This includes all contributors, maintainers, and users of our project.

Our Values

We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their background or identity. We are committed to fostering an open and welcoming environment where everyone can feel safe and included. As members of this community, we are committed to upholding these values in all interactions and activities related to this project.

Expected Behavior

All members of our community are expected to:

  • Be respectful and considerate of others, including their opinions, beliefs, and experiences.
  • Use welcoming and inclusive language and behavior, and avoid offensive or exclusionary language and behavior.
  • Be open to feedback and willing to learn and grow from constructive criticism.
  • Respect the privacy and personal information of others.
  • Conduct themselves professionally and refrain from engaging in behavior that may be considered harassment or discrimination.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behavior is considered unacceptable in our community and will not be tolerated:

  • Harassment or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
  • Sexual harassment, including unwelcome sexual advances, comments, or gestures.
  • Personal attacks or derogatory comments, whether verbal or written.
  • Intimidation or threats of violence, whether explicit or implied.
  • Disruptive or offensive behavior, including behavior that interferes with the project or the ability of others to participate in the community.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior

Any member of our community who engages in behavior that violates this Code of Conduct may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion from the community and revocation of any privileges, such as the ability to contribute to the project or access project resources.

Reporting and Enforcement

If you witness or experience any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to the project maintainers immediately. All reports will be kept confidential and will be taken seriously. The project maintainers will investigate the reported behavior and take appropriate action.
