The fix seems to work only on the main screen, but not on other screens.

R.I.P... I have got no second monitor to easily test it :(

Is the secondary screen on the right or on the left from your primary screen?

Don't worry, you did great job with the main screen. In my case second screen is in the right side. image

Could you please enable the Debug Log (by the configuration file), and then restart the program and instantly try to drop a file on the second screen only? Then screenshot the black console window and show here (you could resize it to be bigger before dropping the file). I wonder at which stage it fails. Maybe there are just multiple windows with the same class, so it should be easier to fix :)

Of course, but I will share in a more convenient way, I provide a text file of the two tests.

  1. I try to drag and drop the same file several times and the result is successful.
    TestOnPrimary_OK.txt

  2. On the next screen, I try to drag and drop the same file several times and the result fails.
    TestOnSecondary_FAILS.txt

Thanks.

As I thought, the taskbar window on secondary screen has different Class Name (and different parent windows).

I was able to test it a little using my TV as the second screen. I'll see what can be done to make it work, but I can't promise that it will work.

First of all, thank you for sharing the solution and responding to the issues.

Good news: I think I managed to fix it :)

I'll be testing now how it works when the secondary screen is on the left.

Unfortunately I won't be able to test how it behaves with more than 2 screens, but let's hope that it will be fine.

@GasDauMin I released version 1.5.0. Could you please check how it works for you?

Please note that windows are getting restored on the screen where they were started. It's an expected behaviour, same as clicking an icon on the taskbar.
