Minutes

1. CLAW Update

   PR-66 has landed so all content modelling is handled through the installer and you will get all the stuff via the "demo" feature.

   PR-68 has landed to get Centos up and running.

   Interesting to see how easy/hard to switch between Centos versus RHEL, perhaps just the base box.

   CLAW sprint scheduling is coming up, waiting to hear back from the Metadata Interest Group. Should be early August.

   Need an issue to allow our conditions to be ignored for block placement. Currently we have made it impossible to use the default block placement UI, and all block placement needs to be done via Context. We need to fix that.

2. Multilingual

   Various issues/questions around persisting multiple languages to Fedora/Drupal and Triplestore.

   Need to be able to index all the languages under a single node (instead of the multiple nodes Drupal creates).

   You could index the predicates into the triplestore and provided additional languages/translations into the triplestore.

   Really this is 3 issues:

   1. Index canonical URI.
   2. Index all languages tags under the above single URI.
   3. Need to be able to translate everything if we want to support multiple languages.

3. iCampEU issues

   Issues from the iCampEU.

   Can we limit the tags available on each item, so you don't see all tags in all places.

   How do you restrict access to tags?

   If you index and it has a tag, then derivatives are generates. But without the tag, then no derivatives are generated. If you add the tag after the fact, it does not generate the derivatives but maybe it should?

   This gets a bit complicated because context doesn't necessarily mean terms, but that is what we are using.

   Being able to compare states (previously no tag, now there is a tag) could make this easier to do.

4. Dynamic Portal

   Bring together all the materials in a single place or portal.

   Perhaps a "view" for this using the URI.

   You are not looking for a single relationship, you want all the relationships for a URI.

   Seth has built something like this, so it is possible.

   Maybe use the Solr index? This might be a place to hit the triplestore directly.
