The software right now is not very user friendly it would be great to make a GUI to make easier to configurate and edit/update pre-existing configuration. I find configuration very hard and unpleasant to create with the current system.

I'd be ready to offer some help for GUI design (though I'm just a hobbyist designer).

Thanks for the feedback! A few things:

  1. A GUI would significantly slow down the implementation of other new features, since the GUI would have to be changed to accommodate them;
  2. Because JSM accepts a very simple text format, anyone could make a GUI application of their own that just talks to JSM. I'd really like to see this happen, but no one seems to be interested enough;
  3. This is not the main repo for JoyShockMapper. I'm not running it anymore. It belongs to Electronicks: https://github.com/Electronicks/JoyShockMapper

I'm currently making a GUI for JSM! You can see it here.
The release is due tomorrow, for it there will be a packaged version with a quick guide.
Looks something like this right now:
