Confirmed that you can drive motor plugged into D with 02. (from the Boost Remote app code, and tested with gatttool)

Main files you would want to look at are the Swift files here https://github.com/bricklife/BoostRemote/tree/master/BoostRemote

Works quite nicely for controlling the motors from the iPhone.
