I recently got YouTube Premium from a friend when he added me to he's family. So I can now play back songs with 256 Kbps, instead of the normal 128.

I'm only concerned/interested about quality, nothing else. No playlist import, no subscriptions, nothing else.

Suggested solution

Only when Youtube is set as the audio source, add an "authenticate" or "sign in" button in the same place that the piped server changer usually appears and a short explanation that it would only improve audio fidelity for premium users and nothing else.

I personally doubt this suggestion will be accepted, due to the fact that this largely goes against part of the project's main tenants; being anonymity and no telemetry/diagnostics or other user data collection.
