onScrolled is triggering but onScrollStateChanged is not triggering in Recylerview when using scrollToPosition, swipeLeft. swipeRight, scrollTo

I have code in onScrollStateChanged of recylerview but it is not executing/triggering

                            `myCardsScreen {
                                            cardSlider {
                                                      scrollToPosition(1)
                                                      Thread.sleep(1000)
                                                      scrollToPosition(2) 
                                                            }
