Verifying 2.9.6 with https://gscan.ghost.org/ result into:

Please add "posts_per_page" to your package.json. E.g. {"config": { "posts_per_page": 5}}.
If no "posts_per_page" property is provided, Ghost will use its default setting of 5 posts per page.
