backbone and backward

Hello, sorry for disurbing you again, about your project, I find it ias based on mmsegmentation. So, I want to learn about how to top stop optimize the backbone during backward process, Because I want to design a new encoder, which can encode the feature map from backbone( ViT, Swin, etc), to avoid causing error (encoder is not corresponding backbone), I cannot optimize the parameter of backbone. the more detailed the process is, the better I can understand.
