Issues with Github download links, so falling back to DFFD and website links, but they are broken too.

For me the links on the update popup do not work. It neither direct downloads, nor opens a browser.

The update feature tries to access someone's home directory in my logs but cannot do so.

If it's michael, then that's an artifact of how PyLNP is packaged, and is not an issue (it's not actually trying to access that folder, just prefixing the error message with it).
Also, I'm pretty sure that's unrelated to this issue.
