Hey @LongDirtyAnimAlf,

I come with my head bowed in shame!!!

Something has gone wrong with my downloader in version 2.4.0d.
It aborts the download at about 80 to 90% complete.
This means any cross compiler install that needs a download is not working.

Sorry !!! I know it's somehow my fault for not correcting some of the mistakes I know are still in it, like double code entry 😭

Cheers,
Gus

Hey @LongDirtyAnimAlf,

I have some news on this!!

When I encountered this error I was tethered to my phone.

I've now had to update FPC main aka trunk and all my cross compilers using the other internet link that I have.

With the other internet link, the Gus Downloader behaved OK.

Let's keep this open while I investigate this further, and of course, update the code of the Gus Downloader with some stuff I've been thinking of!!

I'll drop a PR when I'm done.

Cheers,
Gus
