  • I have read and understand the MAGIC Monero Fund documents.
  • I have read and understand the relevant MAGIC Grants policies.
  • I understand that should I be in a position to receive funds from MAGIC Grants for any reason, I will need to provide identifying information to the organization privately. Election to a committee does not guarantee compensation even if compensation is made available, since MAGIC Grants has legal limitations on how it can disburse funds.
  • I understand that an active committee is the number one factor in a Fund's success.
  • I am at least 18 years old.

Replace this and the below text with approximately 5 paragraphs explaining:

  • Why you are running for the committee
  • Why you are a good candidate
  • What experience you bring to the table (eg: fundraising)
  • What you hope the Fund will accomplish while you are on the committee
  • Contact information (optional)

Make sure to submit your application before the due date, and please campaign ethically in the community! Good luck, and thanks for applying!

Why Are You Running for the Committee?

I have been holding XMR for many years, but as a primary market investor, I have noticed that the development of the Monero ecosystem from 2022 to 2023 does not look optimistic. It is evidently lagging behind some top-tier POW or POS projects. Therefore, I hope to enhance Monero's visibility among developers and investors through my industry experience and network. More importantly, I want to actively participate in the innovation of the Monero ecosystem. I believe my market acumen can bring new ideas, further expanding its appeal and creative boundaries in privacy applications.

Why Are You a Good Candidate?

Firstly, I have a strong academic background in programming, and I am eager to listen to developers' opinions and understand their ideas. Secondly, I have extensive experience in primary market investments, and I can provide better entrepreneurial funding advice to projects within the Monero ecosystem. Thirdly, I have a substantial network of financial partners, which can further increase awareness of Monero's ecosystem.

What Experience Do You Bring to the Table (e.g., Fundraising)?

I have a background in fund operations in Asia and North America, which allows me to lead high-quality fund networks to provide greater support to the Monero ecosystem. Most importantly, I firmly believe in maximizing privacy and am willing to uphold this belief while further adhering to Monero's values. Thirdly, I hope to bring different ideas to the Monero ecosystem and accelerate the incubation of high-quality entrepreneurs.

What Do You Hope the Fund Will Accomplish While You Are on the Committee?

The opinions of developers are undoubtedly important. What I mean is that we should not cease to encourage and support developers within the Monero ecosystem. We will increase support and incentive systems for these proactive developers. But more importantly, we will establish a long-term dynamic funding plan that spans bull and bear markets, with the aim of providing planned support to projects that align with market trends and user demands. We should emphasize that "planning" does not equate to "centralization." This is crucial. It might be the most significant lesson I have observed from Bitcoin developers, Ethereum developers, SOLANA, and COSMOS ecosystems during this cycle. Monero's narrative and values are unquestionable, but we need "strategy" and "planning" to guide this narrative.
