I have a non-functional rear touchpad. Trying to use reVita to remap rear touchpad points to my touch screen to bypass the issue. The problem is, it's janky. It'll work perfect the very first time I set the rule and touch the touch screen. But then, it just doesn't work anymore. I have to delete the rule and remake it to get it to work again, and...again, it only works once. Sometimes it'll work a second or third time if I keep the touch held down, but it's not guaranteed, and it kinda just...works if it feels like it.
It works perfectly fine if I set the rear pad to a physical button, but when set to the touch screen, it's not working right at all.
I also notice that the little finger icon indicating you're touching the back panel blinks when held down while it's set to the touch screen. Where as when it's set to a button, it just stays on. I'm guessing that the touch screen isn't being registered as a press of the button for long enough, and it just keeps pressing and unpressing until finally it gets a long enough press to count. That's why it works occasionally when held down.
