Describes the distribution build process
- the new distribution requires a new partition. you can use fdisk to do that. I would recommend gparted with a UI in order not to get confused and delete the root FS by mistake 🤷

- mkdir -v $LFS/sources
- download the packages. use the wget-list-systemd file in this repo. (Note: apparently there should be a wget-list file based on the init system provided with the book? anyhow, the packages are mentioned in the book and I have created the wget-list-systemd and wget-list-patches-systemd files that contains links to all the packages. for now, I will not build with the patches. I will also not modify the package versions. I will do this once I understand the complete process.)
