Raid Viewer & Editor

Manu edited this page Aug 16, 2024 · 14 revisions

This feature requires either a valid Scarlet or Violet save file to be loaded into the program, or an ongoing connection to remote device (wifi or usb). The window allows users to locate all the raids available in the save file/ram, and eventually edit the seeds/contents to get wanted encounters/rewards.

immagine

N.B: Raids are re-rolled every day. This means that if users were to edit an old save file, they would not be able to have the wanted raids. Users must use a Save File exported from the same day they want to inject/modify raids. Connecting online might also reroll dens. If the goal is to share raids online, the suggestion is to backup the save File after connecting online at least once in that same day. This same logic also applies for those who use the Connect to Remote Device feature. Please save in-game in the same day before connecting the program.

ONLY LEGAL EDITS ARE ALLOWED!

Fields Explanation:

Seed - Raids in Scarlet & Violet are determined by a 32bit RNG seed, which the game uses to generate Pokémon details/stats and Raid Rewards based on its internal Encounter/Reward tables. Encounter Species, Raid Stars, Rewards, IVs, Nature etc are tied to the Seed.

Content - The Raid Content Type. Different Content Types have different encounter tables. Standard is for 1-5 Stars raids from the base Game. Black is for 6 Stars raids from the base game. Event is for 1-5 Stars raids from Raid Events/Poké Portal News. Event-Mighty is for Unrivaled 7 Stars Raids from Raid Events/Poké Portal News.

Den Active - Determines if the Raid is enabled or disabled.

LP Harvested - Determines if the League Points have already been harvested from the Raid.

Pokémon Info - The Pokémon info are not directly editable. All the stats/Rewards are tied to the Seed and Content Type.

How To:

  1. Load the game on the console, save in-game and export the save file with any save manager.
  2. Import the Save File in the Tera Finder Launcher (or load it into PKHeX with Tera Finder as Plugin).
  3. Calculate a Seed with the Raid Calculator or the Reward Calculator.
  4. Once you have a result that matches your likings, do the following actions in order to edit the current raid:
    • Select a seed from the Calculator
    • Right click
    • Click Send Selected Result to Raid Editor
  5. Once the wanted seeds/contents are set, close the Tera Raid Editor window and Export your edited save file.
  6. Restore the edited Save File in your console with any save manager.

Notes

  • The tool generates Raid data based on the Game Progress set in the save file/ram. The tool can not generate Raid Data for blank save files or for save files without valid progress. Users can eventually manually edit the SAV Progress Flags with the built-in Game Flags Editor.
  • Event Data is Loaded from the save file/ram. If no valid event data is detected, the tool can not generate Raid Event Data. This impact both standard Events and Mighty Events. Users can eventually import Raid Events (known as Poké Portal News) with the News Importer.
  • Some Raid Events pick the Pokémon Species based on Delivery Group IDs (Event Index). Tera Finder does its best to determine the correct Event Index and show the right event Species. Even if this should give reliable results in most of the scenarions, there's the chance it might fail in some circumstances, such as the user manually changing the Event Content type.
