Ubuntu 20.04 Repositories

• I have read the MiKTeX Contributing Guidelines

I upgraded to Ubuntu 20.04 and I think the repositories are not available yet?

Adding "deb http://miktex.org/download/ubuntu focal universe" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/miktex.list

yields:
E: The repository 'http://miktex.org/download/ubuntu focal Release' does not have a Release file.

Despite the release of 2.9.7440 there is no repository at "deb http://miktex.org/download/ubuntu focal universe".

The installation help page also seems not up-to-date. At least there is no entry for Ubuntu 20.04 or Fedora 32.

Any updates on the topic?

To record the solution for my case.

This problem appeared to me when trying to install MikTeX in a WSL 2 environment with Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS, in which it returned:

Err:6 https://linorg.usp.br/CTAN/systems/win32/miktex/setup/deb focal Release
  Could not handshake: An unexpected TLS packet was received. [IP: 200.144.254.245 443]
Reading package lists... Done
E: The repository 'http://miktex.org/download/ubuntu focal Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

I noticed the problem was the CTAN mirror that should be reasonably nearby and reasonably up to date. So, I changed the link manually in the register installation source and proceeded with the process presented at miktex.org/download:
