Current Behavior

An event banner image is being displayed when sharing from Minsta to Twitter.

Desired Behavior

As a user I want to share the picture I took, not to promote the event I'm at. As an organization I want more unique social content to retweet.

Implementation Ideas

Xweet content:

  • Include a single URL in the tweet for a clear CTA.
  • It should be the "mint yours here" link but a unique endpoint to enable showing the photo a user took.
  • Don't need to link to the asset on mintbase.xyz/meta, if the user wants to share that page they can (right now by tapping a photo in Minsta to see it's details, in the future maybe something after they've put a photo up for sale/trade).
  • Further simplification of the message:
Captured this {{organization_handle}} moment with @Mintbase @NearProtocol Add yours to join the leaderboard! https://minsta.mintbase.xyz/

Xwitter Metadata:

Using twitter:image meta tag it's possible to have a more attractive image preview on the share. https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/twitter-for-websites/cards/overview/summary
