I know the idea of Monika having emotions were discussed prior (and if this isn't approved, I'll make a Submod for it) but how about we start off with a skeletal system of mood/statements.
So... It will be

Talk > Hey, Monika > What's on your mind? or How are you feeling?

Monika at this moment will respond with 4 ways, but the 4 is used to compound alot of emotions bc they can get too chaotic to explain... So here is my list and what she could say (sentences will be flushed out later)

Happy:
Singing a song
Saying something nice
Reminiscing good times
Saying: I Love You

Sad:
I think I miss them
I missed you
I'm struggling with some coding
Just give me a moment

Nervous:
Bothered about crossing over
Can you please hold me
Do you take care of yourself
Spend some time

Bored:
Can we play a game
Tell a story
Pick a random topic
Ask to play a song.

(I know we could make more...)

But she will ask/say to the player one of these... And the player can respond positive or negative and Monika would respond in the same way, but not harshly. It's more to work the level of affection btwn Player and Monika.

(Again, If this isn't viable, I will work on it myself. Wanted to opt my thoughts bc I've been thinking about it for awhile but never thought to push it here for more help, due to being lackluster with coding)

I like this idea for quite a long time but never bring it to my schedule, seeing you mention it again reminded me.
If you're going to make this, maybe we can work on this together?

Just a topic where a mood would be selected at random wouldn't work. E.g. you can click multiple times and every time there will be a new mood, or she says she's sad/nervous but then proceeds to sing you a random happy song. Or the other way, says she feels cheerful, but then talks about death.

I was gonna write out more. But each would have its own subset to venture further like a CYOA but with Monika choosing. I can show it later for detail due to finding out Inkly exists.

Doesn't matter how many options you add, it still the same fundamentally. The player asks > she chooses one at random > she answers. But conceptually, asking how she feels is only a small part of the mood system. Her mood should affect other things, and the player should be able to influence it.

I thought I said/mentioned that in the first post.
But I'll write it out when I get a chance later today to provide the skeletal system of the scenarios.

see #2618 and linked. At bare minimum, we would want a mood system that isn't random.

Will take into consideration as I'm writing up the stuff next week (busy with personal life, please bare with me until then?)
